Missions at Friendship

PB&J Saturdays:
On the first Saturday of every month we gather in our church’s gym at 9am to fellowship and make sandwiches which are then distributed to local charities. It’s fun for the whole family and a great way to introduce kids to the joy and importance of ministry!

Pumpkin Patch:
During the month of October this family-friendly fall event is where we set up a “pumpkin market” selling pumpkins and gourds of all shapes, sizes, and colors. It serves as a community gathering space, a photo op backdrop of fall decor, and is a major fundraiser to support the church’s charitable missions and outreach.

Thanksgiving Basket Project:
A community-driven initiative that provides holiday meal “baskets” with turkeys, canned goods, and holiday meal essentials to families in need. This program ensures more people can enjoy a warm holiday meal. It’s a meaningful way to fellowship and share the joy of giving during the holiday season.

Our mission is to build partnerships that meet people’s needs and bring joy to the community around us.

Trunk or Treat:
Our popular Halloween event which is like a kid-friendly tailgate where families can dress up and gather in our church’s parking lot and hand out candy from your trunk/car. It’s designed to be a family-friendly way to trick or treat!

The Christmas Giving Tree:
A tree is placed in our church’s Narthex around the first of November and decorated with tags. Members choose tags from the tree, buy gift cards, and return them to church where they are distributed to local needy children so they can enjoy a gift from Santa.
